Our English program reflects an evidence‑based, systematic approach to literacy instruction.
Students build strong foundations through explicit teaching of phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, morphology, fluency and spelling. As they progress, they develop deep comprehension skills using a range of rich texts aligned to the West Australian Curriculum (SCSA). Daily Reviews support ongoing revision of key literacy concepts, helping students strengthen connections - resulting in fluent, confident and capable readers and writers.
